Terry Teachout, President and Founder

President and founder of Teaches Basketball Camps, Terry formerly starred at Duquesne University. During his tenure at Duquesne he played on two NIT Tournament teams.  Scored over 1,100 points at West Geauga High School while holding most scoring records including 44 points in one game.  Has grown the Teaches programs to the largest of its kind in New York through player development and focus on fundamentals creating the best teaching program in New York.  Currently trains NBA players year round.

Stan Teachout, Vice President and Co-Founder

Coach Teachout has been coaching basketball for over thirty years.  He has coached varsity and junior varsity basketball in Ohio.  He has helped build the Teaches brand through his many dedicated years of experience.

Chris Ward, Vice President of Basketball Operations

Coach Ward played college basketball at South Carolina Spartanburg (USC Upstate) and was a member of the 1985-86 NAIA Division 1 District 6 Regular Season Champions with a national ranking of 20.  As a coach, he has built programs in New Jersey, South Carolina and New York at the junior high school and high school levels.  He has also coached at Hasting High School where he was the 2002-2003 New York State Section 1 "Coach of the Year" and overall Westchester County "Coach of the Year".  Make sure you check out Coach Ward's training sessions, to be the best you have to train with the best!

Ural Hogans, Director of Operations

Coach Hogans is in his 5th year with Teaches.  During the season he is the men's varsity coach at Hamilton High School winning a Gold Ball in his first year.  A great tactician he also played Division 1 basketball at Morgan State.  Coach Hogans is director of the Teaches high level competition camp featuring groups from Mt. Vernon, Harlem, Bronx, White Plains, NJ, NH, and Ohio.

Steve Brauerman, Director of Marketing and Webmaster

Coach Brauerman has been with Teaches Basketball Camps for the past sixteen years as both a camper and a coach.  Steve was instrumental in the creation of our "Hot Shots" Program and our "Personal Training Package."  He also helped to create and design this website and continues to develop and improve our e-commerce and camp sign-up capabilities.

Drew Watson

Coach Watson coached at Hamilton High School advancing to two state championship games while winning one state championship.  Captured many County Championship Gold Balls and Coach of the Year honors during his 8 year tenure.  Currently one of the top practice coaches in Westchester County.

Milt Waltzer

Coach Waltzer has been a camp director in Westchester County for over 20 years.  Entering his sixth year at Teaches, he is our #1 "Hot Shots" program director.  Outstanding with your younger kids, Milt has a phenomenal following.  Prior to that, he worked as a guidance  counselor in the New York  City public school system for over 25 years.

Aaron Seiden, Director of AAU Operations

Coach Seiden was a 4-year manager at Division I U. of Buffalo basketball program. Currently coaches modified travel for the powerhouse Mt. Vernon basketball program. Also runs the Teaches Hoops AAU program.

Tyler Fernandez

Coach Fernandez was the assistant varsity coach at Hamilton High during their reign as state champions as well as runner-up state champs. He was also part of the 1991 Mt. Vernon 29-0 State Championship team.

Dave Greiner

Coach Greiner is currently the President of the WCBCA and serves as an advisor for Teaches Basketball Camps. Previously he was a camp director for 10 years.
