Teaches Hoops AAU

2009 will be our 8th season of AAU travel basketball.  2008 was a successful one for Teaches Hoops AAU.  We had 13 teams overall ranging from ages 9u to 17u.  Coach Kulik's 17u team were champions in 3 out of 5 tournaments they played.  Coach Scanlon's 13u team - a house team out of Holy Rosary - also won 3 tournaments.  Coach Hogan's Hamilton High School team - also a house team - won 3 tournaments.  Coach Abrams' 17u team playing with Horace Greeley High School players competed superbly against many "all-star" teams.  Thanks to all our teams and coaches who won many games and most of all; made players better.

Teaches has the #1 Player Development program in New York State. The sole purpose of our program is "to make you a better player."   This encompasses all ages, gender, and levels of play.  It transitions to our AAU program as many players participate in AAU and Player Development.  Our numerous camps have a similar focus and the Teaches Hoops teams often contain many of our camp participants.  If you do not currently participate in our programs, join now to get better.  We will try to find you a team where we have open spots.

Coaches and players with existing teams are welcome to join Teaches Hoops AAU. We can help you schedule, gear up etc.  Our goal is to provide game competition for individual improvement.
